These old black and white photos of the circus really capture the glamour and fascination of the circus. And also the relationships between both the human acts and animal acts.
The film, 'Water for Elephants' is one of my all time favorite films. Its an incredible story of a traveling circus. Its shows the glamour of the circus and the raw hard work and relationships within the circus family. Its innocent romance of both the circus its self, and the relationships with in is beautifuly illustrated. You can't help but want to be part of the circus after watching it.
(and the book is even better)
